Michael Pouls started building resort style communities for the 55 and better community due to an experience his late grandparents had. The people dearest to him, his grandparents were like parents to him. Pouls remembers how excited his grandfather was about moving to a community in Florida, and how thrilled he was by all the amenities on offer. Unfortunately, reality was very different as the amenities were not quite up the standards as advertised. Pouls recalls the crushing disappointment his grandfather experienced and was determined to not let another family go through that. Every community he builds, he puts his heart and soul into it to ensure it is a place his grandparents would have loved and where they would have been very happy.
