PRLog (Press Release)Jul 14, 2008 – Marlyn Tadros, executive director of Virtual Activism (http://www.virtualactivism.org), will be Monday's guest on REAL BIZ in SL, an SLCN.tv television show viewable live on the Web and on over 10,000 screens within the virtual world Second Life. The show tapes and airs live at 12pm PST on 14 July. A live screening will also take place on Athena Isle HQ in Second Life.

REAL BIZ in SL is a weekly business television show filmed entirely in the 3-D virtual environment Second Life. The show features a different real world company or nonprofit organization focusing on how they use Second Life for marketing, communications, customer service, research and fundraising or sales.

Virtual Activism is a nonprofit organization that works to strengthen the effectiveness of NGOs through Internet access and presence. The organization focuses on marginalized NGOs, particularly women's organizations with special focus on organizations located in the Middle East.

The show's host is Second Life personality Cybergrrl Oh, the avatar of Web pioneer Aliza Sherman. The live screening of REAL BIZ in SL on Athena Isle HQ will be hosted by Krisbott Gears, the avatar of multimedia producer Kris Britt.

In conjunction with her latest book, she has written about Second Life in her blog, explaining how it provides an excellent metaphor for understanding how we create our own realities.
