San Francisco, Calif. – J Roland Kelly is a screenwriter and avant-garde musician currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He released his second album J Roland Kelly Taunts the Process ...Into Attacking for Osipa Media earlier this year.
“Suddenly, J Ro comes in, and he’s like ‘I’m leaving for Quito,’ or something” said under assistant west coast promo man Bob Robertson of Osipa Media. “I told him he can’t leave he has to finish the PTB–1869 screenplay. He said ‘pi*s off.’”
Speculation is that the artist is unhappy with the way he has been represented at Osipa Media. The media company promoted his second album as an alt-country album for example.
“This has nothing to do with Osipa Media,” says J Roland Kelly “they have always been completely straight with me, but I just have to get out away for a little while, I’ll come back around.”
