Earlier this week, up-and-coming Hilo based firm, Katy Johnson Resort Wear, debuted a new line of bath & body products called body by K, made with 100% Kona coffee.
While many people think of soap, lotion, and facial care products as basic essentials, however, body by K is changing that perception – especially for coffee lovers. Every product is handmade one batch at a time and contains a wide variety of fresh island ingredients ranging from Kona coffee to Maui Sugar. The culmination of these ingredients is a refreshingly natural and unique product. It is truly coffee with a twist. Katy Johnson, President/CEO, states that, "I wanted to create a product line that was distinctive, energizing, and bold. I think people expected me to do something offbeat!”
Katy Johnson Resort Wear is also dedicated to keeping up with the latest research in beauty industry and offering products that are based on the latest research. Current research has shown that coffee is extremely rich in antioxidants, which can help to repair damage caused by sun, wind, extreme heat and cold, and pollution.
