Art Institute Alumnus Finds Professional Niche at EMG

Production Artist Mark Dipagan uses skills and training acquired from the Art Institute in his budding, but promising career at EMG.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release)Jul 11, 2008 – IRVINE, CA – Committed to promoting from within, Earthbound Media Group (EMG) focuses on career growth and development among its intern staff. And, as in the case of one recent  intern, his 2 years of service at EMG proved to be a valuable investment of his time.

Although still early in his professional career, Production Artist Mark Dipagan has already made a positive impact to EMG’s internal and client marketing efforts after joining Earthbound Media Group’s (EMG) dynamic creative team just months ago. Prior to his official debut as a full-time employee, Mark followed his calling in graphic design production at the Art Institute of California – Orange County. And the quality education he received at The Art Institute equipped him with the tools, skill sets and techniques to further position himself as a talented designer within a highly-demanding and competitive industry.

Rewind to Dipagan’s days at The Art Institute. During his time as an Art Institute student, Dipagan was selected for an EMG internship. Not only was he able to juggle his full schedule, Dipagan immediately adapted to the quick project turn-around schedules and fast-paced EMG work environment thanks to his authentic passion to create and problem solve.

As a graphic design intern promoted to a part-time Client Coordinator, Dipagan quickly proved to be a valuable asset during an intense period of EMG growth. Dipagan also developed additional agency skills with his involvement in the conceptualization and execution of digital and print assets.

“My internship experience at EMG taught me to explore my ideas in every possible way and that learning is something you can never stop doing,” said Dipagan. “It also sharpened my skills and creativity as an up-and-coming, professional graphic designer.”

Dipagan also applied the training he received in The Art Institute’s graphic design program to execute hands-on assignments under the tightest of deadlines. Not only did he hone his time management and multitasking abilities, Dipagan also developed a panache for concept, brainstorming, production and presentation from instructors who were real-life, expert industry professionals.

“Attending The Art Institute of California – Orange County has been one of the most gratifying experiences in my educational life,” explained Mark. “I acquired professional credibility along with real-life experiences that have prepared me to deal with potential career challenges. Also, the classes were so interactive and informative that they have provided me with the support and knowledge to deliver successful projects here at EMG.”

The extra experience attained at EMG presented Mark with the ideal career opportunity. Now, as EMG’s exclusive Production Artist, he is excited to continue to contribute his fresh ideas to one of the industry’s fastest growing marketing agencies.
