Bear & Katie in A Crazy Day at the Beach - Trouble in Nantucket
The Bear & Katie series books are filled with fun and adventure. Each story contains educational facts about the locations that these 2 loveable dogs visit. In addition, each Bear and Katie story helps the young reader to learn about the environment, historical events, other animals and important values.
In "Bear & Katie in A Crazy Day at the Beach - Trouble in Nantucket" Katie runs into trouble at the beach after travelling the New England coasline to the island of Nantucket. Bear and the family along with all of the "Dogs of Nantucket" join together to rescue Katie.
Author, Loni R. Burchett was born in Ashland, KY., and has lived in NH for sixteen years. "I got my inspiration for the Bear & Katie stories after moving to New England. Everywhere I go I find something to write about" says Burchett about her home in New England.
This story includes Illustrations by Michael Mayne, a native of Russell, KY. Michael is currently working on his degree in Visualist Design. He enjoys creating narratives and characters of his own, while taking as many stories across as many mediums as possible.
Together the Author, Loni Burchett, and Illustrator, Michael Mayne, have brought this latest story in the series to life! Children will enjoy learning many things about New England as they read the story about their two favorite dogs, Bear & Katie.
