FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release)Jul 10, 2008 – LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Wingstop, the wing fanatic’s favorite chicken wing chain, has made an emergency landing into the city of Lafayette.

Terrance Casey of Wings Lafayette Pavilions LLC opened the new Wingstop at 210 S. Creasy Ln., Ste. 2120 across from Sam’s Club in Lafayette. The store is open from 11 a.m. to midnight daily.  To contact the new Wingstop or to place take out orders, call 765-449-4190.

Wingstop’s signature bone-in chicken wings and boneless wing strips are prepared fresh and are available in nine proprietary flavors.  Both types of wings are made-to-order and there are no heat lamps, microwaves or holding bins in the store.  Side dishes are made from scratch and prepared daily in each location.  Party platters are available for catered events such as office parties, family gatherings and sporting events.

“We’re really excited to finally be open here and look forward to serving the wing fans in the community,” said Casey.  “Wingstop’s have incredible wings and we look forward to seeing everyone come by and try us out.”

About Wingstop:
Wingstop offers restaurants with a nostalgic, aviation-themed atmosphere where the sole focus is on chicken wings.  The chain now serves boneless wing strips that are made from 100 percent all-white meat chicken breast coated with a proprietary batter and breading.  Wingstop features nine wing flavors, including Original Hot, Cajun, Atomic, Mild, Teriyaki, Lemon Pepper, Hawaiian, Garlic Parmesan, and Hickory Smoked BBQ. The wings are always made-to-order and served steaming hot. Customers can also choose from homemade side dishes including fresh-cut seasoned fries, bourbon baked beans, pearl potato salad, creamy cole slaw, vegetable sticks, rolls and assorted dipping sauces.

Wingstop has more than 600 restaurants either open or under development in 28 states and consistently tops industry growth rankings. Wingstop recently won an American Business Award for Best Overall Company and is 125th on Entrepreneur’s 2008 Franchise 500 list and was chosen Wing King at the 2006 National Buffalo Wing Festival.  Troy Aikman, three-time Super Bowl champion and Hall of Fame quarterback, has served as the chain’s national spokesman since 2003. Aikman extended his contract in 2006 for three years, as Wingstop has posted 20 consecutive quarters of comp store sales increases since the partnership.
