Peddler's Village Debuts New Murder Mystery Dinner Theater Show in Peddler's Pub

July 10, 2008 - PRLog -- (LAHASKA, Pa.) …Peddler’s Village announces the newest show in its Murder Mystery Dinner Theater program in the Peddler’s Pub at the Cock ‘n Bull Restaurant. The new show, Viva Las Murder, will debut on August 1, 2008 and run Friday and Saturday nights through December 27, 2008.

“Viva Las Murder”, produced by Without a Cue Productions, promises an exciting evening of entertainment.  The year is 1965 and it’s lights, camera and murder on the set of Lameo Pictures. The floundering movie company is shooting their latest production--a film starring an Elvis Presley look and act-alike. The Producer and Director think that cashing in on the King of Rock ‘n Roll’s popularity will finally be the key to their success in Hollywood! Between songs from Presley movies and other 60’s hits, audience members may even snag a role as an extra on the movie set.

The situation seems stickier than Elvis’ favorite peanut-butter-and-banana sandwich until an uninvited guest casts himself in a new role - as murderer!  So what happens when the knock-off Elvis is suddenly in danger of being knocked off or the devious director is scared to shout "Cut!" because he's afraid that someone just might? Does the pushy producer's promise to pour his blood into the picture suddenly seem a bit too literal? Will the aging film Dame of yesteryear who is financing the film lose far more than her shirt?  Find out in Viva Las Murder!

Guests should arrive in the lobby of the Cock ‘n Bull Restaurant by 7:15 p.m. The cost is $44.95 per person, which includes dinner, show, tax and gratuity. Cocktail service is available. Groups are welcome. Recommended for mature audiences, 17 years of age and younger admitted at parent’s discretion.
