FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PRLog (Press Release) –
Jul 10, 2008 – Miramar, Florida—Continental Academy doesn’t sensationalize high school online, as if this option is a graduate-quick scheme that should be passed around. In fact, Continental Academy states on its website that high school online should be considered only by students who are currently not enrolled in a learning institution. The company markets its online courses to students who dropped out of high school years ago, as well as longtime workers who never earned their GED.
The school advises against leaving one’s established school in favor of this type of program, as they do not want to encourage the avoidance of knowledge and responsibility. The company also uses this philosophy in advertising its course as an alternative to seeking a GED. Continental Academy states that employers will be more impressed by a student who took the time to finish an accredited learning course rather than someone who just wanted a quick solution to abandoning school studies. Continental Academy proudly shares its associations with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and the Commission on International and Trans-Regional Accreditation as an accredited member. The school also suggests that chances of college admittance would be improved with an accredited high school graduation on the application. Continental Academy is targeting students that are serious about taking on new challenges even if they are choosing to work from their own home. About Continental Academy: Continental Academy has been offering distance-learning education to students since 1996. This online school has been fully accredited by various organizations and is currently registered with the State of Florida Department of Education.
