Dua began in 2003, a dream come true for designers Ayelen Martin and Maria Simonetti. Their mission was to incorporate ancient coppersmith techniques and timeless architecture with current fashion to create bold and artistic pieces of jewelry. The designers not only draw their inspiration from old cultures, but from nature as well, creating their own trendy copper design style. Dua continues to evolve as Martin and Simonetti experiment with other oxidation techniques beyond the typical brilliant green and turquoise hues. Their 2008 Collection includes copper rendered in tones of browns, reds, grays and silvers.
