The first and major reason of more fuel consumption is “Over Speeding”.
On average a vehicle traveling 10 mph faster than the speed limit increases fuel consumption by 20%. Driving 20 mph over the limit increases consumption to 25% where with Sekurtrack – Fleet over speeding can be one button away to control. As when there will be an event of over speed the device will send an alert to the concerned party in order to take the needed action.

On the other hand Off Route Driving is another reason of excessive fuel consumption. When a driver leaves his scheduled route in order to do a personal business while on duty would be extremely costly to the company as the driver is wasting your time not forgetting the fuel.
