FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PR Log (Press Release)Jul 29, 2008 – Despite rising fuel costs and a drop in tourist numbers, Kiwi vehicle rental company Explore More has expanded nearly 400 per cent in its first year of operation, which it celebrated on July 4.

The Explore More rental fleet - which provides campervan hire (http://www.exploremore.co.nz/campervan-hire-new-zealand.aspx) and car rentals (http://www.exploremore.co.nz/cheap-car-rentals-nz.aspx) for travellers on a budget - now offers eight different car, sleepervan and campervan options from fuel-saving economy cars, to two person campervans jam-packed with all the essentials for the ultimate Kiwi getaway.

Kiwi to the core, Explore More vehicles capture the spirit of New Zealand - their latest campervan, the Franz, named after popular tourist spot Franz Josef.

The affectionate use of slang names such as the Tron, the Rotovegas and the Gizzy  for popular Kiwi destinations is also a hit with Explore More customers, both local and international.

"Customers are always very impressed with not only the level of vehicle choice, quality and customer service we offer them, but also the Kiwiana feel we give our vehicles. In a recently conducted survey* over 96 per cent said they would hire an Explore More vehicle again, highlighting the huge appeal and satisfaction from a customer perspective." says EX Group General Manager, Sue Sullivan.

The vehicle fleet is not the only thing at Explore More which is growing. Customers are also benefiting from an increased number of depots through which they can book and pick up vehicles.

"With such a large increase in the number of Explore More vehicles expansion was imminent, with a third depot opening at Auckland Airport and a fourth in Christchurch central city, to complement the existing Christchurch airport and Auckland city depots," says Sullivan.

Explore More vehicles offer travellers freedom and flexibility to roam New Zealand's landscapes at their own pace, and with cars starting from as little as $13 a day and campervans from $20 a day, an Explore More adventure holiday is great value too.
