The ChinaCare Group, the only international healthcare consulting firm in mainland China, was invited to present a case study on the internationalization of Chinese hospitals at the Guanghua School of Management, Peking University. The foundation of the firm's success has been its ability to successfully integrate the principles of international level healthcare into China's healthcare facilities in a culturally-sensitive manner. Taking from those experiences, ChinaCare’s perspective on the Chinese health care system is uniquely specialized in hospital administration and quality of care. The premier Quality of Health Care class was designed for Guanghua MBAs, International MBAs and young professionals in China to obtain a unique insight into the Chinese healthcare industry through the lens of quality.
Joyce Chang, Consultant of the Chinacare Group, shared her insights as an American trained hospital management and quality specialist with work experiences in Chinese hospitals. The case study outlined the feasibility and process of achieving international standard of quality care in a small, private healthcare facility.
