FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release)Jul 07, 2008 – In its endeavour to support creativity, promote local skills and help the maximum number of people to experience the arts, Seagram's Fuel in association with Airtel presents Unplugged Fuel. This acoustic music festival will see twelve talented and recognised bands from South India play at two venues across three weeks. An overload of acoustic music, the festival would cover genres from folk rock, to the blues, to alternative, and is billed to take Bangalore and its music lovers by storm.

The bands performing are:
Junkyard Groove | June 27th
Old Jungle Saying | July 4th
Illuminati | July 11th
Thermal and a Quarter | July 18th
Bleed | July 25th
Bhoomi | August 1st
Chronic Blues | August 8th
Sling Shot | August 15th
Haven | August 22nd
Galeej Gurus | August 29th
Native Tongue | September 5th
Synaps | September 12th

The venues for the shows would be Legends of Rock and Le Rock, Bangalore

- Junkyard Groove | June 27th
Few bands would have dreamed of have achieved as much in a relatively short period of time. Since 2005, Junkyard Groove has hit a high that there's no coming down from. Recognised as a talented bunch of fun-loving and creative Chennai boys, they have proved themselves many times over in the crowded Indian music scene. From hitting it off together at jam sessions to international gigs and contracts, Junkyard Groove has left audiences breathless and demanding for more. This crazy momentum has also taken them into recording their first album. Defining the genre Junkyard's music falls into has been difficult, even for the band members. With their roots in jazz, funk and rock they have settled down to calling themselves an alternative funk band - at least for the time being. Songs like Its OK, Save Me, Folk You and Please Don't Wake Me Up, have had the band starting of cult status amongst fans after every gig.
