No More Excuses- Banish ‘Gym Intimidation’

Chalk it up to past experiences or negative stereotypes, but the gym is not a place for everyone. Despite all the hype, more than two-thirds of Americans still find excuses to avoid hitting the gym.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release)Jul 06, 2008 – Body-Synergy, Inc, which offers in-home personal training sessions to clientele in the Twin Cities East Metro area is proof that the gym is not the only place where you can receive the guidance, motivation and expertise of a fitness professional.

“Some people are uneasy inside a gym setting” says Vanessa Montreuil, personal trainer and owner of Body-Synergy, Inc. “The very nature of a gym can be uncomfortable to someone who has never worked out before”. And many others must agree as business has been promising for Body-Synergy since its launch in March 2008.

Many weight-loss strategies fail because they focus on short-term solutions or they do not address other contributing factors such as eating behaviors and exercise habits.
Body-Synergy provides a unique combination of Nutrition, In Home Fitness and Behavior Modification. The customized fitness programs are designed around personal goals, likes, dislikes and your current level of fitness.

Although the majority of Body-Synergy’s customers are female, clients of any age, gender or fitness level are welcome to purchase in home training sessions. One hour single person and group training sessions are available with package discounts. The ideal client resides in the East Metro area, in Ramsey, Dakota or Washington County although exceptions can be made for clients who live outside of the normal service areas for an additional fee.

“People are much more likely to stick to an exercise regime they can do at home when it’s convenient for them” says Vanessa. “Leaving the house to commute to the gym when it’s snowing outside is not always realistic. Even if you have limited free space in your home or apartment, we can put together a very effective workout for you”.

Vanessa Montreuil is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and a Weight Management Specialist through the National Council of Certified Personal Trainers (NCCPT). She has a special interest in helping new mothers get back in shape after having a baby and resides with her husband and son in St. Paul near Lake Phalen.
