Revolution March FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PRLog (Press Release) –
Jul 07, 2008 – With an economic crisis looming in the near future, many American citizens and companies turn to the government for answers; others, frustrated with elected officials who continue to legislate our rights away, are taking matters into their own hands.
"The government is not the answer to our problems", says Bryan Siemon of Revolution Management Foundation, "Unfortunately, the federal government often becomes the source of our problems. The solutions we seek will be found through education and civic action, not through giving them more power." On July 12th tens of thousands of citizens from all sides of the political spectrum will gather in Washington DC for the opportunity to learn from a line up of sixteen expert speakers. They will discuss foreign and domestic policy, the economy, immigration, the Trans Texas Corridor, and the Kansas City Smartport, among other things. Speakers include Constitution Party Presidential Candidate Chuck Baldwin, Bestselling author Naomi Wolf, Bestselling author Thomas Woods from the Mises Institute, and Bestselling author Michael Scheuer, 22 year CIA agent and head of the Bin Laden unit, and the man who sparked the most recent grassroots movement to take our country by storm, Dr. Ron Paul. The organizers designed this all day family friendly event to provide curious and frustrated citizens the opportunity to show their representatives that they are not happy with the state of our union, to provide a forum to share a cross sector of ideas, and to celebrate the Constitution our Founding Fathers developed to protect us from tyranny. In addition, there will be lobbying and picketing events on Friday the 11th. Siemon envisions this as an opportunity for the activists on the "left" and on the "right" to join together and stand up for freedom, "No longer is this about Democrat and Republican, it is about the people and their servant government, and we are not going to sit by quietly any longer!" The event will kick off at 9:30am with a march down Constitution Avenue and will culminate in a rally on the North lawn of the Washington Monument.
