The Provo Tabernacle has never sounded so good! In commemoration of the Fourth of July, “We The People” was performed throughout the week of celebration in Provo, Utah.

Older buildings with such prestige and history have such challenges with audio for special events. The Provo Tabernacle is no exception. It reverberates and echoes and although can sound quite charming, it is not really pleasing to the ear for modern performances. It is difficult to hear the spoken word at acceptable levels clearly without some feedback.
QuantumPhonic changes all of that! When you have a performance icon as Janie Thompson producing, directing and staging such a prestigious event, the pressure is on! The audio was vital for such a performance on a celebratory occasion.
As this is a historical building nothing could be suspended or fixed to the inside of the building or stage area. QuantumPhonic did not need this; it placed all 12 speakers on the front edge and sides of the stage and “bathed” the entire Tabernacle in lush sound. Everyone heard near equal sound, even sitting right next to the sound delivery system.
The audience for all seven performances was delighted and made their feeling known to the RezCom Inc’s staff. It was dramatically different from the existing in-house system. Crispness, clarity and depth abounded for the production. There was not a bad seat in the house!
