Hawaiian Chocolate, Kona Coffee & Fine Dining Aloha-Style

PRLog (Press Release) – Jul 05, 2008 – Timothy J. Castle, Joan Nielsen and Clay Gordon - all authors and established experts in the culinary industry, are escorting CLTC to Kona and Oahu.

Over 9 days and 8 nights, the travel club will lodge at 2 of Hawaii's leading resorts.  They'll have the opportunity to visit cacoa and coffee plantations, experience a "cupping" at a local coffee plant, participate in several chocolate tastings and a coffee/chocolate pairing.  There's also a private truffle and bar workshop in Kailua with award-winning master chocolatier, Melanie Boudar.

Tim Castle, author of The Perfect Cup and co-author of The Great Coffee Book with his wife, Joan Nielsen, have arranged unique and exclusive coffee venues for this tour.  This includes dining at 5 of Hawaii's top award-winning restaurants.    

Last May, Clay Gordon, author of Discover Chocolate, took the group to Belize & The Toledo Cacao festival - receiving much acclaim from all CLTC participants.
