I have been struggling with my health the last 10 years. I have finally suffered enough to do something about it. I have been overweight most of my life, but now it is affecting my health too much to live with it. I weighed 340 pounds 3 weeks ago. Most people do not realize I weigh so much as I have a large frame and I am tall.
I have been struggling with numerous ailments for years now. I got very sick in November of last year and have basically had one virus or bacterial infection since then. I ended up in the hospital when I got very dizzy and my blood pressure shot up to 202/100. It is very embarrassing to be taken away from work in an ambulance. It turns out I had a severe ear infection. My dizziness lasted 3 weeks. I am feeling better now, but still have a slight ear infection.
This was the last straw for me. I guess Tony Robbins was right when he said, "People will change when the pain of their current circumstance overrides the resistance to improve their selves." That is as close to the quote as I remember it. I had enough and it was time for change for me. I was very tired of not feeling well and embarrassed that I could not do things as well as I used to. Turning 49 was another factor. 50 is next!
I have been working from home for a few years now and decided to switch my focus to a health company. Circumstances came together as my thoughts had been towards focusing on better health for a few months now. A wonderful lady named Cindy McAsey showed up in my life who has been involved in Shaklee for 12 years. I looked over the company and products and decided this was my new life path.
