The Emirates Computers and Blue Coat Security and WAN Acceleration event touched upon several networking and security topics including ways of optimizing a variety of systems such as WAN applications (such as branch systems, ERP, MS Office, intranet, web applications, email and so on), data centre backup, SSL traffic, streaming video, web traffic, applications for mobile users (bank branches), and removing the junk from the WAN.
