Harlequin’s largest ever Bunded Horizontal Oil Tank arrives at TankDepot.co.uk

Online oil tank reseller TankDepot.co.uk, has announced another new addition to the UK company’s range of heating oil storage tanks, in the form of the all-new Harlequin 3500 litre Horizontal Bunded Oil Tank.

The new oil tank represents a significant development in the company’s range – being the largest capacity ‘horizontal’ type bunded oil tank ever offered by the company. In terms of capacity, it slots neatly between smaller horizontal bunded oil tanks in the 2,500 litre threshold and the company’s range of larger, vertical 5,000 litre capacity bunded tanks.

Like all Harlequin Bunded Oil Tanks, the new 3,500 litre model features a high specification as standard.

A choice of top or bottom outlet is available, with top outlet tanks incorporating Harlequin’s unique Ecoflex top outlet system which incorporates isolation valve, non-return valve and suction line as standard. Bottom outlet tanks benefit from an oil tank connection kit which includes a lever type isolation valve, particulate filter, liquid sealant and oil resistant PTFE tape... to complete the installation just connect the oil supply pipe!

Irrespective of outlet position, both models also benefit from a factory electronic bunded oil tank warning alarm, remote electronic oil tank contents gauge, factory fitted vent, lockable fill and inspection points, lockable manhole access together with integrated, failsafe overfill prevention capability.

Fully bunded and licensed for the storage of heating by the Oil Firing Technical Association (OFTEC), the new tank can assist in achieving compliance with Building Regulations in England, Northern Ireland and Wales, as well as satisfying the requirements of the Scottish Building Standards Agency. Additionally, the new model is fully compliant with the requirements of The Control of Pollution (Oil Storage) (England) Regulations 2001 and comparable requirements across the United Kingdom.
