The Twenty Sixth All India Rhinoplasty Conference organized by Moolchand Hospital and Dr. Sood Nasal Research Foundation was inaugurated in Shri S L Talwar Auditorium of Moolchand Hospital. The Conference was inaugurated by Dr. (Lt. Col.) ARN Setalvad, Secretary–Medical Council of India. While giving his inaugural address he said that continuing medical education is the need of the day to update the knowledge of the Doctors for a better patient care. He also emphasized on the need of renewing the license of practicing doctors who fulfill the credit hours of CME of the Medical Council of India.Dr. V.P.Sood, Director of the Conference while giving his address emphasized the recent developments in this specialized surgical technique for reconstruction and changing the shape of the deformed nose. He said that more than 100 doctors from the ENT Specialty from India and neighbouring countries are participating in this scientific deliberation. He further emphasized that Rhinoplasty Operation is a special technique to shape the nose without any stitch or scar outside the nose. He said that the operation is performed inside the nostrils. Dr. Sood, an internationally renowned ENT Surgeon who is heading the ENT Department of Moolchand Hospital said that this is the 26th Annual Conference of its type in the city of Delhi. He highlighted tremendous need of such cosmetic surgery in our country to change the appearance of our nose to add beauty and charm to young boys and girls and help them improve their personalities in all respects. Dr. Sood firmly believes that every common man should be aware of this special technique of shaping the nose in a very cost-effective manner by a skilled and highly trained ENT Surgeon.The Guest of Honour on the occasion was Justice P N Khanna.
