Mezhgan’s work and cosmetic line has been viewed and admired by millions most famously on American Idol but life does not stop after idol...She is currently working on America's Got Talent, Family Feud and So You Think You Can Dance as well as promoting her new makeup line. She has done everything from donating me by {me}zhgan makeovers for a silent auction at a local fundraiser,  to touching up celebrities
at Heather Toms Daytime Emmy party.  

Mezhgan is the face behind the scenes making celebrities and everyday people look flawless even in the critical eye of the high definition camera lens. The evolution of HDTV programs has changed makeup and the technique in which it is applied. Mezhgan has been the key makeup artist for American Idol since season 2 which has launched her to the forefront of this movement. This is conceptually evident in
all the products in the Me by {Me}zhgan, cosmetic line.

While working in the industry and on live televisions shows, Mezhgan recognized the need for products that are versatile and easy to use. She was inspired by the reaction to her transformations from both her clients and viewers. She decided to create a line of products that makes it easy to achieve the flawless look she was creating on television from home and successfully launched, Me by {Me}zhgan.

“My goal was to develop products that allow women to show their faces, not their makeup”, Mezhgan says.  This has become the {Me} philosophy as many are beginning to discover. For years, Mezhgan mixed and matched products from various lines to help achieve a flawless perfection for her celebrity clients. She was inspired to create products that worked harder so she did not have to.

In the midst of the events of September 11th, Mezhgan found great irony in the fact that she fled her country of Afghanistan to come to America when she was 8 yrs old and was truly living the American dream. She was making a living as a top Hollywood makeup artist, when the women in her country were not even allowed the thought of wearing makeup. It was then she decided to go forward with creating the makeup line and having a portion of the proceeds go to women and children in need. She established
the Faraway Foundation in an effort to make a difference and give back .
