SEATTLE – Jim White, training director for Shermco Industries, presented a tutorial titled ‘2009 NFPA 70E Maintenance Requirements - Chapter 2’ at the 54th Annual Pulp & Paper Industry Conference held in Seattle June 22 through June 27.
Hosted by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and the Industry Applications Society, the Pulp & Paper Conference is designed to give attendees a rich learning experience by sharing best practices in the electrical discipline. The Conference program includes presentations of technical sessions and tutorials made by world-renowned experts that cover both industry-specific and universal content. White’s 4-hour tutorial was given on June 26 and covered 70E maintenance requirements for 2009.
White is the training director for Shermco Industries, a leading provider of rotating apparatus and electrical power system testing, commissioning, repair, maintenance and training. He is the chairman of the 2008 IEEE Industry Applications Society Electrical Safety Workshop and a member of the NFPA 70E committee.
