New Generation Of Restaurant Training Films Teaches Employees To Surf The Waves Of Sales & Service!

The DVD premier of the film World Class Restaurant Service presents the time honored techniques of great table service with a decidedly modern and Hawaiian flair. Filmed on location in Waikiki, this film features exciting footage of surfing, sailing, hula dancing, and beautiful ocean vistas to help emphasize its instruction in great customer service. Highlighting an ideal of Service with Aloha as humble and caring expressions of giving, this training film defines Aloha as local hospitality that can be expressed in any restaurant, regardless of location.

The DVD premier release of World Class Restaurant Service features the crystal-clear narration of Steve Dulce (Hawaii Five-0, Jake & the Fat Man, ER.) Comic relief is supplied by waiter Joseph Groom who shows how NOT to greet a table. Joe’s Pidgin English and gruff approach to customer service with a snarl will have viewers cracking up. Handsome and charming waiter Saeed Samad confidently demonstrates what true World Class Restaurant Service looks like. Swiss-born Jayne Cloutier is fetching as the cordial hostess with lovely smile and accent. Francine Palama lends her expressive features and superb acting skills as a restaurant patron to round out the ensemble.

The World Class Restaurant Service script was written by veteran restaurateur Al Cloutier. Al sees a need for high quality, interesting, and contemporary training films that will hold the interest of a younger generation, instead of lulling them to sleep. In addition to writing, directing, and producing industry training films and commercials, Al is Director of Operations for two world class restaurants in Waikiki.

Co-produced, filmed, and edited by Eric Jordan, a filmmaker known for his brilliant work in several documentaries (Paving the Wave, For the Love of Surfing, and Waikiki, Riding the Waves of Change), World Class Restaurant Service showcases Eric’s unique talents and perspective.
