In the construction industry most companies use time clocks to keep track of labor. SunLee Development LLC uses PDA's that are GPS enabled! The use of this technology is quite interesting. They use the PDA's to track the direct cost of building construction in real time. These PDA's connect directly to the companies' accounting software, which was custom built in 2005. This software allows a property owner to directly access (through the internet) a projects progress. The company spent nearly $20,000.00 over the past 2 years implementing the technology, and it is finally paying dividends.

SunLee Development has operated in Illinois since 2004. The company, which is headquartered in Loves Park, IL, has been a Commercial General Contractor since its conception. Franchises and restaurants are the company’s main source of business. SunLee currently employs 26 full time workers, with plans to increase that number to over 30 by the end of August.
