Medix Staffing Solutions Ranks 7 on Crain's

PRLog (Press Release) – Jul 01, 2008 – Medix Staffing Solutions, Inc., a national staffing organization specialized in recruiting skilled personnel for clients in the healthcare, insurance and scientific industries, was recently ranked 7th on Crain’s Chicago Business’ “Fast 50,” a list of Chicago’s fastest growing companies based on their percent of revenue growth.
This annually featured list includes companies that are at least five years old and have accumulated a minimum of $20 million in revenue for 2007. The company must also be located in the six-county Chicago Metro area.
Medix earned its prominent spot on the list based on the growth the company has accrued since its inception, particularly in the past four years. Medix was founded in December 2001 by President and Chief Executive Officer Andrew Limouris. With a loan secured from current Chairman Louis Apostolou that was later converted to company stock, Medix received the seed money to launch its concept into a private business. By 2003, the company expanded to earn $2.6 million in revenue. Over the next four years, Medix’s revenue soared to $26.9 million in 2007, marking a 930 percent growth.
