HOUSTON, TX. – Hoping to widen Prudential Gary Greene, Realtors’ reach into the commercial real estate market, Roger Richardson is the point man for non-residential transactions as part of Michele Flory & Company. The team of Realtors works out of the company’s Woodlands Research office.
“The commercial real estate market is fantastic here,” said Richardson. “People started asking me questions about various commercial properties, so it seemed a natural fit for us to explore this market segment.”
Richardson, who has been buying and selling commercial real estate on his own since 1995, said customers in The Woodlands need someone experienced with solid credentials and good market contacts. To that end, he is a part of the Houston Association of Realtors Commercial Gateway group and C.R.E.A.M., a commercial real estate group based in Montgomery County.
He said his affiliations with such organizations keep him on top of area properties. “By networking with residents, business owners and my extensive commercial contacts, I know the market and am informed of what’s going on in the area,” he said.
Ray Allison, director of the newly formed Commercial Real Estate Services division of Prudential Gary Greene, Realtors, said that, with his company’s position in the Houston residential real estate market, it made sense to focus more energy on the commercial sector of the industry.
“We are already the largest single residential broker in the city of Houston and with that comes a lot of responsibility to our customers,” said Allison. “We decided to leverage our position in the marketplace by reaching out to commercial customers.”
