He added: “Another myth is that conservatories can be too hot and uncomfortable in the summer and too cold to use in the winter. That’s not the case, with Portland's roof ventilating systems and double-glazed units, they can be used all the year round and certainly look more attractive and are often cheaper than a conventional extension.”
With enhancement options available on the market such as underfloor heating, tiled or wooden flooring, air-conditioning and blinds, a conservatory can be adapted to suit the environment, giving cost-effective and stylish living space.
Portland Conservatories, which are self-build, take in the region of two to three weeks to install and can be assembled by a competent enthusiast or by a reputable joiner - simple step by step instructions guide the customer through the assembly process.
