The Puerto Rican Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Broward County of Florida and The PR Fiestas Patronales & Business Expo have united forces, with the only Hispanic Health magazine in South Florida, Salud Al Día magazine.

The Puerto Rican Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Broward County, Florida and The PR Fiestas Patronales & Business Expo had recently announced joining to bring to their members and festival attendees more access to products and services for the consumers. This is possible throughout their respective web pages that combined, are reaching out to over 62,000 visitors (over 2.9 million hits) per year the various event they conduct in Broward County. Now to add additional value and to increase their number of visitors, they have united forces, with the only Hispanic Health magazine in South Florida, Salud Al Día magazine.
Working as one, these three companies have put together a web page called Salud, Al Día (Health, Up to Date), www.prfiestas.com/
With tips & topics on: the latest on health issues, new alternative and affordable health insurance, Obesity, Diabetes, Heart Disease, Organ Donation & how to save life's, Kidney problems , Cancer, and Healthful Foods. These are just a few of the topics that visitors will be able to read about and forward to their love ones. This will be a synopsis of the Salud Al Día magazine but with extras and updates every week.
We are working to make this health page a very visited and informative one for our community and members of the Chamber and Fiestas attendees. Our commitment is to keep them informed of the latest in the health industry,” says Frank Nieves, President of the Puerto Rican Hispanic Chamber of Broward and also President and creator of the PR Fiestas Patronales & Business Expo, the most attended Hispanic event in Broward County, Florida.
This, a critical part of a new strategy been applied to bring the best of the combination of the business, culture and community outreach, complying with an essential part the chamber's mission. The puzzle will be completed at the PR Fiestas Patronales & Business Expo 2008, on November 15, 2008 when we open the health pavilion to serve our community, a new component to the PR Fiestas. “It has always been part of our goal to bring a health event to the South Florida community and now working with these two prestige organizations, our goal is a reality!”, Says Carlos Sanchez, President and CEO of Salud Al Día Magazine.
As Carlos & Frank tell us, they are very excited with the new health component; that brings the latest information to our community and alternatives to families with no health insurance.
The launching and announcement of these and other new components will be on August 6, 2008 at the Hyatt Regency Bonaventure in Weston, Florida. In addition, these companies will announce the latest information on what will be happening with the health component at the PR Fiestas Patronales, as well as what features our community can expect from the effort of these and other companies joining them.
