Bradenton, FL – July 1, 2008 – Riggs Technology, a global leader in the Power-over-Ethernet products, announces a Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) Network (IP) camera enclosure model, the NetCamEnclosure, which is designed for quick and easy installation.
The NetCamEnclosure is IEEE-802.3af/
“With the increased use of network cameras using Power-over-Ethernet it only makes sense to design a camera enclosure that enables this type of technology” said James H Riggs, President/CEO of Riggs Technology, Inc. "The ingenious design of the NetCamEnclosure allows for integrators to use any PoE enabled, fixed IP camera. The NetCamEnclosure is equipped with a built-in RJ45 plug, which is already terminated for power, for both camera and heater/blower, for an easy Plug-n-Play install.
Power over Ethernet (IEEE 802.3af) supplies power to the camera enclosure via the network cable, connecting to a harsh environment (IP67) RJ45 connector at the bottom of the enclosure eliminating the need for additional power cables. Without having to cut, slice or use power splitters, the NetCamEnclosure reduces installation mistakes and cost.
The NetCamEnclosure supports the industry's largest base of network (IP) cameras, and is completely compatible with all Riggs Technology products.
The NetCamEnclosure is currently available thru Riggs Technology sales channels.
