Wisconsin Dells, WI
Riverview Park and Pirate’s Cove raised nearly $2400 for the Wisconsin Chapter of the American Red Cross to support area flood relief on Saturday June 21st. “We put the call out for a fundraiser pretty late – bad weather doesn’t come with a warning; we didn’t know what to expect. The local media and folks who live or traveled here answered the call.” Ken Foster, General Manager of Pirate’s Cove Adventure Golf.
Riverview Park and Waterworld experienced one of their highest attendances this summer last Saturday during a day devoted to their community. “The weather’s been more than lousy this year, and people know how much we’ve been suffering. They came out in a big way to support our fundraiser, and we’re so happy to make this contribution to the place we call home,“ Shawna White, General Manager of Riverview Park & Waterworld.
Pirate’s Cove had high turnouts as well, “The weather was great, the clouds stayed away and people putted their hearts out. I know it’s just mini-golf, but people were having an especially great time knowing they were helping out.” Dominic Flath, Assistant Manager of Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf.
Riverview Park and Pirate's Cove are fixtures in the Wisconsin Dells and invite the community to join them in continuing to raise money for area flood relief through online donations to the Badger Chapter of the American Red Cross: www.arcbadger.org
