Ocean Township, NJ - The New Jersey State Board of Architects applauds the newest member Galina Ubogiy of Galina Design Group located in Ocean Township, as a Certified Interior Designer in the State of New Jersey.

New Jersey Certified Interior Designers must meet the education and experience requirements set by the state law and pass the qualifying examination for interior designers, regulated by the NJ State Board of Architects and administered by the National Council for Interior Design Qualification. Certified Interior Designers must be knowledgeable about many important issues including building codes, space planning that provides proper means of egress, furniture and materials specifications that comply with fire codes, as well as accessibility issues, ergonomics, lighting and acoustics.

Galina Ubogiy, founder and principal of Galina Design Group, is an innovative, experienced, high energy Interior Designer. She has lent her skills and creativity to such projects as Rutgers University Center for Law and Justice, College of New Rochelle's Gill Memorial Library and Paradise Blues Restaurant. More recent projects have been the Herbert Axelrod Jewish Community Center Theater of Deal, NJ, Torcon Corporate Headquarters in Red Bank, NJ, College of New Rochelle's Wellness Center, Deal Yeshiva Organization in Ocean Township, NJ, "Le Chocolat" Gourmet Chocolate Franchise in Cedarhurst, NY and her latest project with Temple Beth El of Oakhurst, NJ. Ms. Ubogiy is affiliated with The International Interior Design Association and is also certified by the National Council for Interior Design Qualification. She is a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, Interior Design Department. In addition, Galina has a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from the Tashkent State Polytechnic University in the U.S.S.R.
