New Jersey Artist's Charity Yard Sale

Laura Brunetti of L'Estrella Studio Raises Spirits and Money to Benefit Collier

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release)Jun 27, 2008 – Colts Neck, NJ: Celebrated Artist Laura Brunetti hosted a Backyard Tent 'Trash and Treasure' Yard Sale on Saturday, June 7th to benefit Collier Youth Services.

Attendees celebrated with food, live music, performing arts for kids and much more.

Laura Brunetti and her loyal volunteers helped stage a tented boutique with treasures galore such as designer clothing, artwork, children's toys, furniture and estate jewelry. Community support was evident as truckloads of donations were delivered prior to the sale.   L'Estrella Studio is equipped with storage space for the remaining items and is planning to host another sale soon to raise funds for Collier Services.

"The sale raised over $2,000. I am proud to support an outstanding organization in my own creative way. The Collier Treasure Sale Must go on!", Brunetti cheered.

Laura Brunetti's mantra, "Believe in yourself and anything can happen", reflects Collier's mission by mentoring at-risk youth in the community.

About Collier Services:
www.collierservices.com   The mission of Collier Services is to provide at-risk youth a chance to grow toward their potential in an environment that promotes belonging, dignity and hope.  The mission is based on a philosophy of deep respect for the inherent worth of each individual and the belief in the capacity for personal change that is consistent with the ministry of the Sisters of the Good Shepherd.

About Laura Brunetti:
Laura is a graduate of Monmouth University in Marketing, a graduate of The Western School of Feng Shui and also attended DuCret School of Art in Plainfield, NJ. She is grateful to her many mentors over the years including Artist Marjorie Fister of the Art Alliance in Red Bank who encouraged her to be "free" with her painting.  Her creative approach to the philanthropy of art has empowered and inspired hundreds of community members in workshops, seminars and studio workshops for community at risk youth programs and health care facilities. Laura has reached out to the community and is donating her studio for art and poetry lessons for at-risk youth.  "There is nothing more rewarding in the educational process than to be able to touch and to literally absorb your own work of Art. The collections I create are for posterity", Brunetti cheers. "As an artist, I also express myself through watercolor, gouache and collage."

"My signature collection is the "Art from the Heart" Angel anthology.  Each painting is customized for loved ones coping with challenges in their lives. Whether it is overcoming a disease, an addiction or a loss, I will research their personalities and create an angel just for them."

Laura creates vibrant and energetic paintings which reflect her vivid personality. Brunetti's collections have also been inspired by a trip to Spain with fellow artists.  There, she experienced Plein Air painting in the most memorable and magnificent environments of authentic villages and landscapes.

Ms. Brunetti welcomes visitors to her private gallery, hosts charity art shows and Feng Shui consultations at her very own art enclave, L'Estrella Studio in Colts Neck, NJ.  Part of her repertoire also includes poetry and journaling classes. Laura is a published poet, enjoys traveling, volunteering and spending time with family and friends. Ms. Brunetti resides with her loving husband John in Wayside, New Jersey
