Winfield Earns Dyson's Endorsement

New Haven, CT - Sate Representative for Connecticut's 94th general assembly district, William ‘Bill' Dyson has made clear his choice for successor.  Asked about the race Dyson is quoted in the Thursday edition of the Newhavenindependent.org as saying:

"I think Gary is a capable person," "We've worked together on a number of issues.  Gary is the better choice."

"I am proud that my work, my advocacy has earned me this statement of support by Representative Dyson.  To have someone with his strong record of speaking up for people standing with you is truly an honor.  It is also a reminder of the work that is to be done.  I will work hard to ensure that there is a voice for the people in state politics much like my friend and mentor Bill Dyson has," said Winfield.  "People know that I have been pushing issues critical to New Haven and the state without compensation or a title - that I have done it because it needs to be done.  That is the type of work that I believe will give the people reason to believe that with me you are getting more than a campaign promise."
