Ms. Rankin is a Certified Meeting Professional and brings over 20 years experience in the hospitality industry including 13 years in the Dublin area. She was previously awarded Supplier of the Year by the Ohio Chapter of Meeting Professional International for her industry contributions.
Past employment as a meeting professional for both the Stouffer Dublin Hotel and the Dublin Convention & Visitors Bureau has lent her invaluable experience in working with a national association and with the business travel market, experience that has her excited for the new opportunity.
“It is great to be back in Dublin representing one of the best hotels in the region,” says Ms. Rankin. “I look forward to getting reacquainted with business travel managers and agents at the many quality companies in the area.”
As economic recession has led to a decrease in leisure travel nationwide, maintaining strong corporate travel business has become increasingly critical. To Ms. Rankin’s benefit, Columbus is emerging as a global city, with offices for AT&T, IBM, Nationwide Insurance, The Scotts Company, and Wendy’s International in close proximity to the hotel.
Ms. Rankin has a Bachelors of Arts in Marketing from Florida State University.
