FISolv hosted two educational webinars on how to develop a successful Business Continuity Plan and how to build a Business Continuity Team. The webinars were hosted by WebEx on Tuesday, June 17, 2008 and Thursday, June 26, 2008. 1:00 PM EST.
“With the FFIEC updating guidance on Business Continuity Plans for the first time since 2003 the Summer Webinars are extremely timely and well received trainings”, said Randall Smith, Senior Vice President of Business Development with FISolv and presenter on the webinars. “Our webinars provided Credit Unions with key elements that every Business Continuity Plan should cover including FISolv best practices and updates on the recently released guidance from the FFIEC BCP Booklet.”
Smith also stated “FISolv is hosting the Summer Educational Webinars due to the overwhelming response from Credit Unions and their need for education on Business Continuity Planning.”
FISolv has three remaining webinars in their Summer Educational Series. The topics include: Board and Senior Management Responsibilities, Pandemic Planning, Testing and Maintenance of your BCP. Smith stated “We are currently looking for dates to re-run the 5 Keys to a Successful BCP webinar this summer because of the positive feedback and response from the Credit Union community.
