PERCOM Launches TEXAS based Onilne EMT-Basic and First Responder Courses

PRLog (Press Release) – Jun 26, 2008 – Professional Education and Resources Company (PERCOM) is proud to announce course offerings for EMS training.  The company specializes in online training for Emergency Medical Technician certification.  Its Program Director, Jane Dinsmore, was one of the first to develop online initial training opportunities for EMS personnel in the United States and was the first to get approved in the state of Texas to deliver these types of programs.  
The PERCOM EMS initial training program is fairly unique in that it works in cooperation with individual instructors, colleges and other EMS education programs to provide the necessary skills training, testing and clinical components.  It is impossible to complete initial EMS training programs for certification or licensure without hands-on training and clinical and field rotations.  However, PERCOM has made every effort to minimize travel for students, allowing them to train in blocks of time.  The cooperative schools supplying clinical components of the program strive to work with the students to ensure that “blocks” of rotation time can be made available as well.
Future plans for PERCOM include offering more readily available Continuing Education opportunities for EMS, Fire and other venues, safety training, as well as upgrading to more advanced EMS initial training in the near future.
