City Buses Converted to Mobile Video Gaming Venues

PR Log (Press Release) – Jun 25, 2008 – The retirement of a small fleet of city metro buses sparked the idea for a new genre of event rental entertainment, according to the owner of a new entertainment business based out of Sacramento, CA.   The Busy Bus "Park & Play" mobile video gaming, slumber party, and tumble bus evolved after David Carpenter, a former inflatable party rental business owner, was looking for fresh angle on what had become a highly competitive event rental market.  

Video gaming has skyrocketed in popularity, and with new gaming platforms like the Nintendo Wii, and party games like Guitar Hero and Rockband appealing to adults, the converted 40' city metro buses will be a huge hit for a wide range of ages.  Teen parties, church youth groups, grad nights, and corporate family fun day organizers  have already embraced this new event rental concept.  

The buses are loaded with the popular gaming consoles Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Nintendo Wii, and games are played on large 32" flat panel LCD televisions.  There is a multiplayer "Wii Zone", played on a video projection system, in the back of the bus.  The buses are loaded with the best interactive party games, including Rockband and Guitar Hero 3, American Idol and SingStar karaoke, and other titles.  Teen and adult titles like  GTA and Halo, and other first person shooter games, are also available on request, and can be networked together to form a multi-player LAN gaming experience.  

The Busy Bus "Mobile Tumbling Fun"  Tumble Bus program is an offshoot business that incorporates a mobile education, entertainment, and fitness program on the buses.  This weekly gymnastics program is geared toward local preschools, and classes take place on the bus in front of the school.

Both bus concepts are available for immediate rental in the Northern California area.  The buses are also available for corporate and company functions, and product promotional opportunities and events.
