Sometimes, you just need to talk…
Any town, USA…-In the midst of all that is wrong with the world today, from natural disasters, to terrorism to the mortgage meltdown sometimes it just gets so overwhelming you just need to talk. For millions of Americans there is no one there to listen, or perhaps no one you trust. Searching the internet for a chat buddy or just a kind ear to listen to you can actually be dangerous.
Site founder Frank Worley learned the hard way that sometimes you need to reach out for a helping hand on those days when there is no other alternative. So he began the site to give people a place to go, just to vent. “We will do our best to respond to every email and post as soon as possible. The site is mainly for people to share their frustrations about life and the issues and problems they face right now and not have to wait for anyone. Sometimes, just being able to vent can make a huge difference.”
Worley said all information is kept confidential. Your personal crisis need not be of a earth shattering magnitude, just when you need a place to go to vent.
“We are actively searching for volunteers with life experience to help respond to emails and posts and just listen to what our visitors have to talk about”, Said Worley. The site is also seeking a sponsor.
No professional counselors are available at the site and those with significant emotional problems or those who may be about to hurt themselves or others should seek professional help immediately.
