Virtual Tour for the University of La Verne (ULV) with a Gold International Communicator Award. In its 9th consecutive win, the ULV Virtual Tour was honored by the 14th annual Communicator Awards in the “Interactive Multimedia – Recruitment”
category with an Award of Excellence, the competition’
s highest honor.
Established in 1995 by communication professionals, the Communicator Awards program is a leading international competition that annually recognizes the industry’s best in print, video, online media and audio. Of the thousands of submissions, only a small percentage of entrants received one of two honors based on the individual performance and highly selective criteria set by the International Academy of Visual Arts (IAVA). The top tier of all entries was recognized with an Award of Excellence, followed by the next level of recognition, the Award of Distinction.

Virtual Tour was names one of the best in the field and the most recognizable for its ability to communicate the benefits of attending ULV effectively to prospective students. Integrating cutting-edge flash and rich media technologies, the impressive virtual tour received top marks for its strategic creativity in authentically portraying the ULV experience for college-bound students through an engaging, user-centric approach.
