Howell, MI - MD Tooling, Inc., is pleased to announce a new member to their team. Tracy Gillespie has joined the company in the position of National Sales & Marketing Manager. Originally hired by an engineering company, Ms. Gillespie made the leap to the machine tool industry in 1999. For the past nine years, she has worked for a leading integration company, CNC Engineering, where she was elevated to the position of Sales & Marketing Manager.
MD Tooling, the importer of MT Marchetti, has grown rapidly over the last few years, as a result of supplying customers with an exceptional product at very competitive prices while providing the highest level of customer service. Operations Manager Steve Dehnke said “We are very excited to have Tracy aboard the MD Tooling train. We believe that expanding our team now, will position us to continue to provide our customers with the high level of service they have come to expect, as we continue to grow. Tracy comes to us with a very thorough knowledge of the machine tool industry and the necessary technical background we were looking for. We are confident that she will help get us to the next level.”
In announcing the appointment, Dehnke stated that Ms. Gillespie will be responsible for expanding the company’s growth throughout North America, by working directly with distributors, OEM’s and manufacturing representatives. She will also be responsible for all marketing activities, as well as overseeing the company’s image and market focus.
Gillespie holds an associate’s degree in Propulsion Technology as well as an AS in Aircraft Maintenance. She has served in both the US Air Force as an avionics technician and the CT Air National Guard as a jet engine mechanic. She currently resides in CT with her daughter.
