National Hair Centers Rides High Even When Economy’s Not Good

“The only two times I’ve seen any kind of downturn in business was immediately after 9/11 and during the 1993 NBA Finals – which of course starred our Phoenix Suns,” says Lisa Zimmerman, President of National Hair Centers. “I guess appearance is near the top of the list for a lot of folks.”

Lisa says she knows of other businesses that seem to weather bad times better than others. “The man who grooms my cockatoo says his business actually gets better when the economy isn’t as rosy. And I know people in the air conditioning and heating industry who say they ride out the bad times intact. I guess there are some things people can’t live without: a comfortable house, pets and hair.”

“Of course, we have so many surgical and non-surgical options that we can find one to fit just about every budget. You don’t have to have a lot of greenbacks to get hair back on your head.”
