To mark the launch of their new shopping website, xooguru.com is running a survey asking: What is your favourite online store? And they are asking people to participate.
According to Nielsen statistics published earlier this year, globally over 875 million customers have shopped online. In the UK 97% of internet users have shopped online with books being the most popular items purchased.
The aim of the survey is to build up a picture of where people shop online and how this differs from region to region, showing trends for different genders and ages. These results will be made freely available to the public.
xooguru.com is open to editing by the public, meaning users can contribute information and advice to help other online shoppers. To go with this survey, a shopping forum has also been set up where users can share what they really like or dislike about online shopping, and contribute their ideas for the future of online shopping.
