LONG TERM VOLUNTARY SERVICE
The LTV projects are programs for young people from the 18 years of age, which offer the opportunity them to know the culture, the form to live and the traditions of India. These are carried out in projects, organizations, institutions or existing groupings of social work in all the Country.
Through work that are made in the LTV, aid and one promotes in India the interchange and the cross-cultural understanding. The LTV have a period of duration of between 3 to 12 months or longer, depending on the availability of the volunteer and the duration of the project. All programs LTV are developed in diverse cities, towns and communities in all the Indian Subcontinent, where the volunteers stay themselves in homes that welcome them, and where they coexist with a family like a member of it. In this form the volunteer has the possibility of knowing his culture and its traditions.

Cost
Participants make their own arrangements for the travel to the project and cover the transportation by themselves. They are always provided with sufficient information about the local means of transport, location and directions to the projects site, meeting point, etc. Few projects provide partial travel support to the participants.
The participation fee for each long term volunteer project is listed in the project description. Food and accommodation are provided for the volunteer for the whole length of the project.
