BRANDING CONSULTANT CMI DEVELOPES A NEW WEBSITE FOR CCFL USING DATABASE ARCHITECTING AND DEVELOPMENT, GRAPHIC USABILITY RESEARCH AND ANALYSIS NEW WEB SITE IS SET TO LAUNCH
Crystal McKenzie, Inc. (CMI) http://www.cminyc.com, a strategic brand identity consultancy, is about to launch the new CCFL website. All phases of CCFL’s new website development including the preparation of requirements, design specifications, test plans and procedures, workflow management consulting, digital asset management systems, and web-based document delivery systems, Search Engine Optimization as well as follow-up verification / validation activities are complete. CMI has been working with CCFL to re-brand their company and competitively position it in the marketplace.
Project rollout strategy includes graphic usability research and analysis (i.e., assessing information architecture)
CMI Interactive Division’s world-class systems engineers, human-factors specialists, and visual designers collaborated to develop CCFL’s new website in an interdisciplinary approach to problem solving driven by users’ needs. Complexity empowers users -- but that does not mean it has to show. CMI’s involvement with CCFL included special insight into the capabilities and constraints of technology. CMI specializes in packaging and delivering complexity in ways that make it more quickly understandable, accessible and appealing to the user. After conferencing with CCFL stakeholders, managers and other staff, CMI successfully provided recommendations relating to all key areas. Specific strategies were outlined in order to develop a pragmatic and usable blueprint for the project, probing usability of the fundamental structure of the website. The new, re-branded CCFL website is set to be launched and unveiled on July 24, 2008.
