Westchester Home, which will publish five issues in 2008, will feature a new look and new focus from Westchester Home & Garden, a quarterly publication which included features about home design as well as gardening and landscape design.
“Westchester Home is more lifestyle oriented than what we were doing with Westchester Home & Garden. Whether they’re designing an exciting new kitchen, entertaining at home or buying a second home, our upscale readers are spending more time and money on their homes,” said Ralph Martinelli, Publisher of Westchester Magazine.
According to market research conducted by Westchester Home Magazine, 77 percent of its readers own a home with an average value of $1.3 million. Another 41 percent own other real estate with an average value of $1.2 million. The average annual household income of the magazine’s readers is $464,000. Over half of the magazine’s readers renovated their home in the past year.
“The home has become a central part of the lives of our readers. It’s not just about where they live; it’s also about how they live,” said Dana Asher, Executive Editor of Westchester Home.
In addition to features on home furnishings, new products and services, Westchester Home will also include articles about food and wine, entertaining, real estate trends and travel.
