BATON ROUGE- Today, Governor Bobby Jindal announced four appointments and three reappointments to the Louisiana Auctioneers Licensing Board.
The Louisiana Auctioneers Licensing Board issues, administers, and revokes auction licenses and regulates licensed auctioneers.
The board is composed of seven members, five of whom must be auctioneers that represent each of the five public service commission districts, and two are non-licensed “consumers”
Greg Bordelon and Clayton Brister will serve as consumers, selected from the state-at-large, and James “Ken” Comer, Jr., will serve as chair
Appointments to Louisiana Auctioneers Licensing Board:
Greg Bordelon, of Jennings, is currently the vice president of Gulf Coast Autoplex.
Clayton Brister, of Sieper, currently serves as an agriculture specialist for the Louisiana Department of Agriculture.
James “Ken” Comer, Jr., of Jennings, has worked as an auctioneer in the automotive industry for over 20 years. Comer has served on the Louisiana Auctioneers Licensing Board since 2005.
Delmar “Buster” Gay, of Monroe, has been a licensed auctioneer for fifteen years. Gay is currently a member of the Louisiana Auctioneers Licensing Board.
Robert Graves, of Baton Rouge, currently works as a private practice attorney in the Baton Rouge area.
Freddie L. Phillips, Jr., of Baton Rouge, has served as the pastor of the Jehovah Ministry World Evangelistic Outreach Church since 1995.
Tessa Steinkamp, of Slidell, has been the executive vice president of New Orleans Auction, St. Charles Gallery, Inc., since 1997. Steinkamp has served on the Louisiana Auctioneers Licensing Board since 1997.
