Taborah releases her new 2008 CD “A Piece of Me” on Lah Lah Music…its more than dance music.

It’s what you’ve waited for and it’s finally here!  Taborah’s new E.P. “A Piece of Me”, take you from dance music to a ballad and everything in between.  Taborah’s voice is notably recognizable in the dance music industry as she has been writing hits for many years and is no stranger to US and International radio and Billboard dance charts.  With such songs as; “I Am”, “All I Gave To You”, “Ride on the Rhythm”, “My Love For You”, “I’ve Got To Have You” “You Gotta Go ‘Cause I’m Through With You” and many other’s, she has established herself as a dance diva.  But Taborah is a songwriter with a passion for all music and just like her life her music holds no barriers.  

Committed to her dance roots, Taborah delivers two dance tracks to this seven song EP.  Reaching over to the UK for a new sound, Taborah introduces two hot producers.  “You Gotta Go ‘Cause I’m Through With You”, is remixed by an up and coming producer from Ipswich named Reflex.  The single received almost instant radio play and the phase “no sit down, I’m not done yet” has quickly become a favorite one liner.  This sexy house song has beaten out Miley Cyrus on KNHC’s Phat 5 and the video released with it gives the song life.  “Just One Night” is produced by Jason Still from London and delivers heavy beats, funky guitar riffs and Taborah’s signature power vocals.  Her love of jazz, rhythm and blues find themselves in the song entitled “Keep It Real”, produced by Darren Noble.  The smooth rhythm, gentle horn and sultry vocals might remind you of a Sara Vaughn tune, but listen closely because the lyrics are in no way as silky as the deliverance.  The ballad “I Can’t Sleep” was written and produced by Hawaiian producer Karen De Rosa.  Simply put…a timeless piece.

“A Piece of Me” also includes the a cappella’s and an extended mix of “You Gotta Go ‘Cause I’m Through With You” and a praise song called “Give Thanks”.

Fast, slow, dance and soul… Taborah’s love and passion of music is uniquely displayed.  Her sound is worldly.  A brief yet memorable ride “A Piece of Me” will leave you wanting more.
