Hippodrome Theatre sponsors Designer's fittings

PRLog (Press Release) – Jun 16, 2008 – Baltimore, MD --- The dress rehearsals for Baltimore’s Fashion Week will take place on June 14, June 16, June 20, and June 21st  at the Hippodrome Foundation Inc. located at 416 West Baltimore Street, Baltimore, Maryland.

“I could not believe it when I was informed that the Hippodrome Foundation was willing to provide us space for dress rehearsals/fittings for fashion week.  The Hippodrome Theatre is such a legendary place and I must be dreaming to even be a part of this building’s history, says Sharan Nixon, Founder/CEO of Baltimore’s Fashion Week.  

Olive Waxter, the director of the Hippodrome Foundation Inc. decided to give Baltimore’s Fashion Week the rehearsal space based on our event’s contribution to the city of Baltimore.

“Amateur models from Baltimore City will be used for Baltimore's Fashion Week and the Hippodrome Foundation is committed to furthering opportunities for Baltimore youth. The foundation is committed to being a contributing “good citizen” to other groups so if we could help with our rehearsal space, we will do it,” says Waxter.

The dress rehearsals will begin at 10 a.m. and end at 4 p.m.
